What data is collected?

A platform may store item-level answers, a type result, contact details, device identifiers, and analytics. Item-level responses can reveal more than the four-letter output. Read the notice and ask whether completion requires an account or personal information beyond what the stated purpose needs.

Who receives individual results?

In a workshop, clarify whether the facilitator, teacher, manager, human resources team, or classmates can see your result. Ask whether sharing is voluntary and whether a group report can be aggregated. Consent is weak when declining creates a penalty or public suspicion.

Does the result affect a decision?

A reflective classroom exercise is different from screening for a course, job, promotion, or team assignment. If the assessment influences a consequential decision, ask what evidence validates that use, how accommodations work, and how to challenge an error. Personality type should not become a hidden eligibility rule.

How can the data be deleted?

Find the retention period, deletion process, third-party sharing terms, and contact for privacy questions. Save a copy of the notice that applied when you responded. If the answers are unclear, do not provide optional information and raise the question through the appropriate school or workplace channel before starting.
